Abstract
Background and Objective: Despite the acknowledged significance of spiritual health in the divine lifestyle and the frequent attribution of peace as a core element, the specific attitudinal components underlying peace in this framework remain unidentified and unoperationalized. Moreover, the causal pathways through which these components contribute to the actualization of the divine lifestyle have not been systematically examined based on Imam Khomeini's works. This lacuna necessitates a qualitative exploration of the transpersonal spiritual health components conducive to peace from his perspective, which forms the central problematic of this research.
Methods: This research was conducted using a library-based method with a qualitative analysis of Imam Khomeini's works. Data were collected through the study of religious texts, statements, and writings of Imam Khomeini. Subsequently, the components related to peace within the transpersonal dimension of spiritual health were extracted and analyzed, with an emphasis on the attitudinal elements of the divine lifestyle.
Findings: An analysis of Imam Khomeini's works indicates that faith in God is the most peace-inducing orientation in spiritual health. Among the most important components of this orientation in the divine lifestyle are "loving devotion to God," "satisfaction with the will of the Almighty," and "patience in the face of afflictions." These components play a significant role in realizing the divine lifestyle; such that a heart that has attained peace through faith not only finds freedom from sorrow by gaining a sense of life satisfaction, but can also use the opportunity of facing difficulties to deepen its trust in the Manager of the universe.
Conclusion: From the perspective of Imam Khomeini, peace in the transpersonal dimension of spiritual health is unattainable without faith in God and practical commitment to components such as satisfaction and patience. Through an ascending cycle, these components elevate the individual to a higher level of faith and provide the primary foundation for the divine lifestyle. Therefore, re-examining these components within Imam Khomeini's thought can offer an effective model for achieving authentic spiritual health in contemporary life.
