The Study of Relationship between Social Happiness and Islamic Life Style among citizens aged 18 and older in Yazd city

Abstract
Background and objective: Social happiness is one of the fundamental and essential needs of humans and is nowadays considered an important component in any society. The aim of the current research is to examine the relationship between social happiness and Islamic lifestyle and its dimensions (security, social, beliefs, worship, ethics, financial, health, family, thought and science, and time management) among the citizens of Yazd who are 18 years old and above.
Methods and Materials: The method of this research was survey-based. The statistical population of the research consisted of individuals aged 18 and above in the city of Yazd, for which the sample size was determined to be 368 people using Cochran's formula. Data were collected using the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire and Kaviani's Islamic Lifestyle Questionnaire through multi-stage cluster sampling. The validity of the questionnaire was established content validity, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to assess reliability. The data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software.
Results: The level of social happiness of the respondents was above average (116.61). Inferential findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the dimensions of Islamic lifestyle and social happiness. Among the dimensions of Islamic lifestyle, the social dimension and thought and science with a value of 0.376 had the highest correlation with the variable of social happiness. With the increase in the level of Islamic lifestyle indicators in society, it can be hoped that the level of social happiness in society will increase. The structural equation model had a satisfactory fit.
Conclusion: With the increase in the level of Islamic lifestyle indicators in the society, we can hope that the level of social vitality in the society will increase.
