Abstract
Abstract
The purpose of the current research was to design and validate the counseling model for managing marital conflicts based on the Sahmgozari approach. This research was conducted with the grounded theory method, to design a model, couples were interviewed who scored lower than the average score in the Marital Conflicts Questionnaire by Jamshidi & et al. (1395) and in Enrich's Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire (1989) and the Sahmgozari Life Style Questionnaire of Ismaili et al. (1400), and they scored higher than the average. To analyze the interviews using the grounded theory method, a model based on the contribution approach was obtained. Then, to validate the model, it was evaluated and modified by Guba & Lincoln (1985) method by experts and counseling experts in the field of couples counseling. Then, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the model by targeted sampling method, the obtained model was performed on three couples who were willing to cooperate and due to marital and family conflicts went to counseling centers in Tehran city (Fahm, Masir Solh, Khadem yaran Astan Qods Razavi) and the results were analyzed using a single subject design method with an AB type baseline. The results showed that the designed model has increased marital satisfaction among couples.
