Presenting the structural model of psychological security based on parent-child conflict and self-differentiation concerning the mediating role of corona stress in students

Abstract
Background and objective: Psychological security is one of the basic human needs, especially the second layer of Maslow's pyramid. Parent-child conflict and differentiation with self-stress were done.
Methods and Materials: The research employed an applied purpose and descriptive-correlation methodology. The statistical population consisted of 7,500 undergraduate students at Lorestan University during the 2021-2022 academic year. Following Klein's rule (2015), a sample size of 240 participants was selected using a non-probability sampling method via an online questionnaire. The study utilized several tools, including Maslow's psychological security questionnaire, the Corona stress scale, the self-differentiation scale, and a parent-child relationship assessment.
Results: The direct results of research hypotheses showed that self-differentiation of causal and negative effect with psychological security β=-0.51, causal and negative effect with psychological security β=-0.15. Also, Corona stress has a mediating role of causal and direct negative effect with psychological security β = 0.17, self-differentiation with causal and direct effects stress β b = 0.19, as well as parent-child conflict with causal stress. and directly had β = 0.21; Also, the assumptions of the indirect causal effect of stress were confirmed.
Conclusion: In the end, it is concluded that during the time of infection with the COVID-19 virus, interventions are carried out to maintain psychological security and improve parent-child relationships, as well as self-differentiation.
