Structural equations of the relationship between anger and adaptability of nurses, mediation analysis of ethical leadership and moderation of Impulsiveness

Abstract
Purpose: Today, due to the expansion of organizations at the global level and the increase of conflicts in people's social life and significant environmental and social changes, the flexibility of individuals and organizations against problems and anger has become increasingly important. The main purpose of the present study was to identify the relationship between anger and adaptability of employees, analyze the mediatio of moral leadership and moderation of impulsivity among the nurses of Shohdaye Lenjan Hospital.
Materials and Methods: The present research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of implementation. The statistical population of the present study consists of 151 nurses and paramedics of Shohdaye Hospital in Lanjan, and the sample size was selected using the general census method. The research tools included four standard questionnaires: Spielberger's anger questionnaire (1999), Barkley's Impulsiveness questionnaire (2011), Kalshoven et al.'s ethical leadership questionnaire (2011), and Olson et al.'s adaptability questionnaire (1985). Its validity was confirmed by formal and structural methods, and its reliability was also confirmed based on Cronbach's alpha. The collected data were analyzed based on structural equations in PLS software.
 Findings: The findings of the present study show that anger has a positive effect on moral leadership with the role of modulating action (β=0.600) and moral leadership on adaptability (β=0.557), and anger has a positive effect on adaptability with The mediating role of ethical leadership (β = 0.211) has a positive effect, on the other hand, anger on ethical leadership (β = -0.379) and anger on adaptability (β = -0.293) have an inverse and significant effect (P<0/000).
Conclusion: Considering the essential role of ethical leadership in improving anger control, managers should pay attention to the working conditions of nurses and their efforts should be appreciated. High anger and impulsivity of people can weaken the perception of their ability to adapt to organizational changes. One way to encourage ethical behavior in organizations is to focus on these qualities when selecting, promoting, and developing organizational leaders.
