Investigating the Relationship between Mindfulness and Religiosity with Spiritual Welfare and Emotional Processing Students obligated to perform prayer

Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between mindfulness, religiosity, spiritual well-being, and emotional processing among students who adhere to Salat. The descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 240 students from Azad University, Rash branch, during the academic year 1398-99.
Method: The students were selected using the convenience sampling method. Initially, the participants were requested to complete several questionnaires, including the mindfulness questionnaire (Baer et al. 2006), religiosity questionnaire (Seraj-Zadeh et al. 2013), spiritual well-being scale (Paloutzian & Ellison, 1982), and emotional processing scale (Baker et al. 2007). The collected data was analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient.
Findings: The findings of the study revealed significant positive relationships between mindfulness and spiritual well-being as well as emotional processing. Additionally, the results indicated significant positive relationships between religiosity and spiritual well-being as well as emotional processing.
Conclusion: The analysis demonstrated that higher levels of mindfulness and religiosity were associated with higher levels of spiritual well-being and emotional processing.
