The prediction of occupational well-being based on religious coping styles, psychological capital and work-family conflict

Abstract
Aim & Background:The purpose of this research was to study the relationship between religious coping styles, psychological capital and work-family conflict with occupational well-being.
Method: This research is descriptive correlation method and its statistical population included all employees of  a service organization, from whom 170 persons were selected through convenience sampling method and responded to research tools including religious coping styles scale, occupational well-being scale, psychological capital questionnaire and work-family conflict questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis.
Results: Findings indicated that the relationship between all of the religious coping styles, work-family conflict, family-work conflict and psychological capital with occupational well-being was significant. Moreover, stepwise regression analysis results revealed that psychological capital, family-work conflict, religious coping styles of discontent,interpersonal religious support and plead (p<0/05) were able to predict occupational well-being respectively. These variables can predict 44/9 percentage of the total variance of occupational well-being.
Conclusion:Accordingly, it is recommended that administrators of organizations enhance occupational well-being of their employees by providing essential background for acquainting their employees with positive and negative ways of religious coping. Additionally, they should perform necessary educations in order to the management of work-family conflict and psychological capital.
