Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Moral Growth Components on moral Education of High School Students (Case Study: Education of Mazandaran Province)

Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this study is to identify the effective components of moral growth and explain the contribution of each of the components affecting the moral education of high school students in Mazandaran province.
Material and Methods: The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of method in the research group. In order to collect information from two documentary methods (libraries and dissertations, Internet sites) and field (distribution and completion of a researcher-made questionnaire) by referring to the study area and by sample people. The statistical population of the study includes all principals and teachers working in education (15,156 people) and all experts and specialists of universities in Mazandaran province in the sub-fields of educational sciences (75 people). The size of the statistical population based on the Krejcie-Morgan table among teachers and education experts was 320 people and the number of specialists working in universities of Mazandaran province was 59 people by random-stratified random sampling method. Analysis of research data in the qualitative part with the help of Delphi method and in the quantitative part includes heuristic factor analysis with the aim of finding latent variables and confirmatory factor analysis by fitting the final model.
Findings: Findings from data analysis show; all components of research have a positive and significant effect on the growth of student’s moral education.
Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study; the component of wisdom with a coefficient of 83.8% has the most impact and the component of rationalism with a factor of 4.7% has the least impact on the moral education of high school students
