Purpose: The main purpose of the research design; Investigating the relationship between emotional intelligence and critical thinking and moral decision making and lifestyle of accounting students of Islamic Azad University.
Materials and Methods: The research method is descriptive-survey and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population was all accounting students of Islamic Azad University, Bushehr Branch, from which 201 people were selected using simple random sampling method.
Findings: According to the research findings, all major and minor hypotheses were confirmed with a high level of confidence and according to the results, it should be noted that there is a significant relationship between critical thinking and students' emotional intelligence. Among the factors of critical thinking, the two factors of flexibility and social responsibility had the highest correlation with emotional intelligence and were positive predictors of emotional intelligence. On the other hand; Professional ethics has also grown as a branch on the roots of ethics, and to understand it properly, it is necessary to know the context of ethics and the conditions of each particular profession in interaction with ethical skills.
Conclusion: Numerous factors affect students' moral decisions in the educational system; Factors such as culture, individual values, circumstances, available options, personality, intentions, etc.
One of the ways to increase efficiency and productivity in a country's educational system is to pay attention to appropriate decision-making methods and raise the decision-making levels of their students by cultivating emotional intelligence in them.
