The Reasons for the Transformation of the Statesmen of the Islamic Republic of Iran (1979-2021)

Abstract
Purpose: This research, with a new look at the phenomenon
of transformation and its search in statesmen, seeks to
investigate the transformation of the vision and behavior of the
officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran before and after
coming to power, and also in comparison with the first
generation of officials of the Islamic Revolution.
Materials and methods: Some researches related to the
subject in the field of the conditions of agents and the
requirements of employing statesmen in the religious system
have been studied before, and some of them have a degree of
content affinity with the title of this research. But so far, the
statesmen in the Islamic Republic have not been addressed
from this angle. Due to the lack of resources and information
and the need to create a theory during the research process, the
qualitative research method and foundation data were used,
which was operationalized according to Strauss and Corbin's
three levels of open, central and selective coding. The tool of
data collection was interviews with knowledgeable persons at
the level of some officials and a group of persons familiar with
the subject. The conceptual framework of the research is
developed by borrowing from the theory of neuroticism and
the concept of transformation.
Findings: The analysis of the findings indicates that the
occurrence of contextual and insightful developments has
transformed some officials of the Islamic Republic and their
adherence and loyalty to the values of the 1957 revolution has
been replaced over time with the pursuit of individual, group
and family interests.
Conclusion: The nervousness at the beginning of the
revolution, which was derived from religion and wealth, has
gradually turned into compassion and in the following decades
into solidarity, duty, and finally, overtaking
