Abstract
Purpose: Entrepreneurship plays an important role in the
economic development of a country. This is important in times
of sanctions or natural and unnatural restrictions. Therefore,
this research aims to design a suitable model with local
elements and variables in Iran.
Materials and Methods: To collect and analyze the data, the
qualitative method of the Foundation's data theory was used,
the process of which was carried out in three stages of open,
central and selective coding. After 10 interviews with experts
in this field, necessary data were collected and analyzed. In
this way, after the process of continuous comparison of data
and three steps of coding categories, a total of 7 main
categories and 15 sub-categories were identified.
Findings: The results of the research were presented in the
form of a qualitative database model with the focus on
"entrepreneurship under restrictions and sanctions".
Conclusion: Based on this, a model has been proposed that
includes causal conditions (government support in the
conditions of sanctions, including financial support and legal
support), foundation or context, including (business
management in the conditions of sanctions, which includes:
"Financial management in the conditions embargo, supply
chain management in embargo conditions, and strategic
management based on opportunities and threats in embargo
conditions", business benefits in embargo conditions, which
include: "focusing on the needs of the country in embargo
conditions and focusing on the interests of domestic customers
and foreign", creativity in the conditions of sanctions includes:
"creativity in creating new services and products in conditions
of sanctions and creativity in identifying new markets in
conditions of sanctions", focusing on business advantages in
conditions of sanctions including: "identifying competitive
advantages in the domestic industry and focusing on the
development of competitiveness with foreign products" and
finally networking in the conditions of embargo included:
"consulting in business and development of social networks").
