The Family Resilience Model based on the Level of SelfDifferentiation and the Health of the Main Family with the Role of Emotion Regulation Mediator

Abstract
Purpose: Resilience is one of the human abilities that allows
tolerance and adaptation to life's crises and overcoming them. The
present study was conducted with the aim of developing a family
resilience model based on the level of self-differentiation and the
health of the main family with the role of emotion regulation as a
mediator.
Materials and methods: The statistical population consists of all
couples who referred to Kermanshah counseling centers in 1400.
The sample was 400 people and available sampling method was
used. SPSS-25 software and AMOS software were used to analyze
the data obtained from Sikbi family resilience, self-differentiation,
emotion regulation and family health questionnaires.
Findings: The results showed that there is a relationship between
self-differentiation and family health with parental resilience with
the mediation of emotional regulation.
Conclusion: According to the findings, it can be concluded that
differentiation of self and family health through emotional
regulation is effective on family resilience. Therefore, by managing
emotional regulation, their effect on family resilience can be
regulated.
