The access of victimized Seeking Asylum women to criminal justice; Challenges and solutions (reflecting on the approach of international documents)

Abstract
Purpose: According to the new approaches, refugee women,
due to the various violence they experience and because the
possibility of repeating the bitter experience of being
victimized by them is high, should be covered by special legal
and judicial protections. In this article, an attempt has been
made to study the situation of victimized refugee women from
the point of view of victimology, the aspects of these women's
access to criminal justice by considering the approach of
international documents.
Materials and methods: The present research was carried out
using a descriptive-analytical method.
Findings: Currently, due to the special conditions that refugee
women are in, their access to criminal justice faces many
challenges, and international documents have tried to identify
the areas of violation of the right of these women to access
criminal justice in relation to crimes. Minimize the crimes
committed against them and encourage the criminal systems
to prepare platforms to protect the rights of this group of
women.
Conclusion: An important part of these support models, legal
systems should seek to find solutions and methods to improve
the status of victimized refugee women in various fields,
including social and legal.
