Abstract
urpose: The aim of this study was to provide a structural model of self-satisfaction based on job security and knowledge system in graduate students. Materials and Methods: The research method is descriptive-correlation based on structural equations. The statistical population includes all graduate students of Tehran universities in 2019-20 with 8197 students. The sample size was estimated based on Cochran's formula and Morgan table 382 people by stratified random sampling. Data collection tools were self-satisfaction questionnaire (Diner et al., 1985), job security (Nisi et al., 2000) and knowledge system (Newman and Conrad, 2000). The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed in terms of form and content by several experts, the validity was confirmed by calculating the slope and the validity was confirmed by calculating the square root of the AVE. The reliability of the questionnaire was obtained through Cronbach's alpha for the whole questionnaire of 0.898. Lisrel and smartpls3 software were used to analyze the data. Findings: The results showed that job security and knowledge system at a rate of 0.223 and 0.232, respectively, have a positive and significant effect on self-satisfaction in graduate students. Conclusion: In addition, job security and knowledge system played a mediating role. So that the effect of job security on self-satisfaction with the mediating role of the knowledge system is 0.31.
