Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this article was to investigate the status of
factors affecting the development of managers' education in Iran
University of Medical Sciences.
Materials and Methods: The research method is developmental in
terms of purpose, and in terms of the type of data, it was part of
sequential exploratory mixed research and was carried out using the
foundation data method, and in terms of the method, it is a
descriptive survey type. The statistical population in the qualitative
section includes a number of experts and in the quantitative section
it includes all male and female managers of the Iran University of
Medical Sciences and includes 301 people, in the qualitative section
12 people using the snowball method and in the quantitative section
169 people according to the Karjesi and Morgan table. They were
selected by cluster random method. The research tool was a
researcher-made questionnaire, which was used in the quantitative
dimension of face, content and construct validity. Also, CVR was
confirmed with a coefficient of 0.832 and confirmed in the
qualitative dimension of a survey of experts, and Cronbach's alpha
was calculated with a coefficient of 0.855 and reliability was also
confirmed and the data were analyzed.
Findings: The results showed that the development factors of
managers education in Iran University of Medical Sciences have
dimensions and components including: 1-Strategic factors
including: foresight, realism, knowledge of the environment 2-
Learning culture including: continuous education, eagerness to
learn, common goal 3 Support includes: ability of managers,
meeting needs, providing facilities, improving organizational
communication 4-Structural-motivational factors including:
personality, structural and motivational factors 5-Educational
improvement factors include: skill enhancement, development of
collaborative management, supervision and Evaluating and
improving the organizational atmosphere 6- Developmental factors
include: improving moral growth, improving organizational
performance, improving decision-making ability and maturity.
Conclusion: Also, all components except the components of
foresight (4/892), eagerness to learn (4/665) and common ideal
(4/581), improvement of organizational communication (4/886) and
improvement of organizational atmosphere (961/9) 4) They are not
in a good condition.
