Designing a Jihadi-Islamic Management Model in Education: A Mixed Research

Abstract
Purpose: Jihadi-Islamic management plays an important role
in the performance and effectiveness of management.
Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of
designing a jihadi-Islamic management model in education.
Materials and Methods: This study in terms of purpose was
applied and in terms of implementation method was mixed
(qualitative and quantitative). The research population in the
qualitative section was the experts of Jihadi-Islamic
management in the fields of management and educational
sciences, which number of 17 people of them were selected by
purposive sampling method and underwent a semi-structured
interview. The research population in the quantitative section
was managers, deputies and experts of the General Directorate
of Education of Tehran province, which number of 120 people
were selected by numerical sampling method and answered to
the researcher-made questionnaire (61 items). To analyze the
data in the qualitative section was used the theme analysis
method in MAXQDA software and in the quantitative section
was used the exploratory factor analysis method in SPSS
software.
Findings: The findings of the qualitative section showed that
for the Jihadi-Islamic management model in education, were
identified 115 sub-themes in the form of 6 main themes
including behavioral, structural, contextual, approaches and
basic orientations, managerial and human resources. Also, the
findings of the quantitative section showed that the factor load
of 3 items was less than 0.40 and the questionnaire with 58
items in six behavioral, structural, contextual, approaches and
basic orientations, managerial and human resources had good
validity and reliability and the Jihadi-Islamic management
model was designed in education.
Conclusion: According to the results of the present study,
planning is necessary to improve management through the
jihadi-Islamic management model based on the identified
factors for it
