Abstract
Introduction: Happiness is one of the most important issues in human life, if its place is not properly understood, it can leave significant destructive effects in human life. It is important to know what Islam as a complete and universal school thinks about this category.
Methods: In this article, in addition to examining the concept of happiness and vitality in Islamic verses and traditions and researching the cases and examples of acceptance of happiness from the point of view of Islam, an attempt has been made to show by presenting evidence that enjoying happiness, vitality and rest is a right that It is recognized as a fundamental right for all human beings. Therefore, the article is divided into two parts: in the first part, the general principles of Islam’s opinion on positive and negative happiness are examined, and in the second part, this issue is analyzed from the perspective of jurisprudence and law.
Results: There is a significant relationship between the concepts of happiness and vitality with mental health and lifestyle. Also, there is an inverse relationship between the correct meaning derived from the verses of the Qur’an and the traditions of the innocents (peace be upon them) in this issue with the disorder of hopelessness and depression. 
Conclusion: According to the conducted research, it can be concluded that the main goal of religion and religiosity is to achieve a happy life in its true and complete meaning, and without religiosity, one cannot achieve a happy life.
