Abstract
Purpose: The present study was conducted with the aim of
investigating the impact of self-leadership on the future of human
resource management, considering the mediating role of work
participation of young teachers in Sistan and Baluchistan province.
Materials and Methods: In terms of practical purpose, the present
study was a field data collection method, and in terms of
descriptive implementation method, the statistical population was
440 young teachers of Sistan and Baluchistan province, who were
using the Cochran formula and method Multistage cluster random
sampling, 205 people were selected as the sample size. Library and
field data collection methods and tools for measuring written
documents and two questionnaires including self-leadership
questionnaire, Hoffman and Wenk's self-leadership questionnaire
(2002), Shai et al.'s human resource development questionnaire
(2004) and Lodal and Kenger's work participation questionnaire
(1965). used. The validity of the tool was measured through face,
content and construct validity, and reliability was measured
through Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability. Structural
equation modeling method was used for data analysis using SPSSv23 and Smart Pls-v3 software.
Findings: The results showed that self-leadership has a significant
impact on the future of human resource management due to the
mediating role of work participation among teachers.
Conclusion: The characteristic of self-leadership among young
teachers can open a clear path in the future direction of human
resource management in education. On the other hand, selfleadership in young teachers brings other positive consequences,
including work participation.
