Abstract
Purpose: The present study aimed to investigate the promotion of life as a tool to promote inner and lasting happiness based on the teachings of Rumi.
Materials and Methods: The present study is a documentary and library study that has been done in a descriptive-analytical manner and based on the books of Masnavi Manavi.
Findings: It indicates that from Rumi's point of view, the soul is an internal phenomenon, hierarchically, of the nature of consciousness and awareness, and also the soul is the source of happiness. Superior level awareness and genuine soul can promote genuine happiness.
Conclusion: According to positivist psychology and the results of related research, external joys resulting from material success are temporary and unstable, so it seems to pay attention to teachings based on internal and spiritual dimensions such as mysticism and Sufism in The cultural tradition of Islam seems to be necessary for the promotion of happiness as well as its stabilization and stability. Man is hierarchical, in proportion to the upliftment of the soul, the genuine inner joy increases.
