Abstract
Purpose: The present article examines the
relationship between the severity of symptoms in
coronary heart patients with the cognitive regulation
of emotion and causal attributions.
Materials and Methods: The sample of this research
included 216 patients with coronary heart disease. To
measure the severity of disease symptoms, the gender
score was used, to measure the cognitive regulation
of emotion, Gransafaki and Karaji (2001)
questionnaire was used, and to measure causal
documents, Seligman's (1979) questionnaire was
used. Structural equation modeling was used to
examine the assumed models and examine the
relationships between these variables that were
developed based on the research literature.
In order to compile the causal model of the severity
of disease symptoms, the correlation matrix of all the
research variables was prepared and adjusted, and
after the correlation matrix was prepared, the
necessary calculations were performed using AMOS
software, and various fitting methods were
implemented for the proposed analysis model.
Findings: The results of this research showed that the
proposed model has a good fit. And direct and
indirect ways all affect the severity of disease
symptoms.
Conclusion: According to the results of the research,
it is possible to improve the symptoms of coronary
heart disease by teaching positive emotional
regulation and positive documents.
