Abstract
Purpose: Social security is one of the most important and effective variables in social life that effects on the health and quality of life. Therefore, the aim of this study was identifying the dimensions and components of social security.
Materials and Methods: This study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was qualitative. The research population was the employees working in the police force of Mazandaran province in 2019 year, which according to the principle of theoretical saturation number of 15 people of them after checking the inclusion criteria were selected by purposive sampling method. The research tool was a semi-structured interview, which its validity was confirmed by the methods of credibility, dependability, confirmability and transferability, and its reliability was obtained by the method of the coefficient of agreement between two coders of 0.88. Finally, the data were analyzed by content analysis method.
Findings: The findings showed that the social security had 14 dimensions and 65 indicators. In this structure, the dimensions were include life dimension (6 indicators), occupational dimension (6 indicators), financial dimension (6 indicators), political dimension (7 indicators), collective dimension (3 indicators), belief dimension (4 indicators), legal dimension (3 indicators), judicial dimension (6 indicators), moral dimension (5 indicators), navamis dimension (3 indicators), emotional dimension (4 indicators), intellectual dimension (3 indicators), cultural dimension (3 indicators) and economic dimension (6 index). Finally, the pattern of social security dimensions was drawn.
Conclusion: The results of this study in the field of dimensions and indicators of social security can be of great help to security specialists and planners in designing programs to improve and promote social security, which for this purpose, the conditions for the realization of the indicators of each dimension should be provided.
