Comparison of quality of life, job stress and social support amongemployees of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education

Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the
difference in quality of life, job stress and social support
among official, contract and corporate employees of the
Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.
Materials and methods: The present research population
included all the employees of the Ministry of Health,
Treatment and Medical Education in Tehran in 1400-1401, out
of which there are 60 official employees, 60 contractual
employees and 60 corporate employees using the method
Available sampling was selected. The participants completed
the quality of life questionnaires of the World Health
Organization (2004), the social support questionnaire of ZimtDahm, Zimt and Farley (1988) and the revised occupational
stress questionnaire of Spiu (1988) in order to analyze the data,
multivariate analysis of variance was used. became. In this
research, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to check the
normality of the research data
Findings: considering that the level of significance of the
studied variables is higher than (P < 0.05). There is a
significant difference between the averages of the variables
studied in this research, which include social support, quality
of life, and job stress among official, corporate, and
contractual employees.
Conclusion: The results showed that the higher the level of
quality of life and social support they receive, the less job
stress they will have.
