Examining the Duty-Oriented Approach to Citizenship from thePerspective of Islam and International Law

Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate and
explain the duty-oriented approach to citizenship from the
perspective of international law.
Materials and methods: The research method used in
this article was descriptive-analytical. The citizenship
coin has two sides; Right-oriented and duty-oriented. The
relationship between right and duty is a solid and
inseparable relationship in the discussion of citizenship
rights in the international system.
Findings: The results of the research showed that since
the full realization of citizenship rights in the international
system and the enjoyment of freedoms is not possible
without predicting and observing the duties of citizenship,
on this basis, in addition to predicting and guaranteeing
different rights for citizens, various tasks for Citizenship
is also foreseen.
Conclusion: However, considering that international law
is not affected by the specific point of view of a
government or a country, which takes into account
independence, territorial integrity, national order and
security, goals and national interests, and assigns duties
to its citizens and performs certain duties. to predict, on
this basis, international law has entrusted the
determination of tasks and duties of citizens to a
government to which these citizens are subject to that
government. Based on this, in international law, each
government has predicted duties and responsibilities for
its citizens in accordance with its governance conditions.
