Purpose: The main topic and question of this article is what was the role of Imam Sajjad in the political, social and cultural developments of the Islamic world? The hypothesis of the article is based on the fact that the role of Imam Sajjad (AS) as the Immaculate Imam has been chosen as the most important political and socio-cultural reference of the Shiites of the Islamic world in providing intellectual models for Muslims in shaping and creating social movements and trends in the Umayyad era and education. Cultural, social and political personalities have a fundamental and important role.
Materials and methods: The research method is descriptive-analytical, and the data was collected in a library-style manner and by taking a questionnaire.
Findings: Imam Sajjad, due to the conditions and preservation of the Islamic government in crisis conditions, chose prayer and expediency in order to overcome the crises and met the needs of the society in the field of servitude, sincerity, anti-tyranny, social, individual and spiritual needs. They provided the form of prayer and expediency strategy.
