Effectiveness of lifestyle group training based on Islamic-positive psychology on psychological capital and resilience of single parent children

Abstract
Introduction:The phenomenon of single parenthood is considered as a major social crisis all over the world, and the deprivation of a father or mother is one of the special family conditions that, as an important variable can have special effects on the development and different aspects of the child's behavior, especially in the field of mental health physical and academic performance; Therefore, the aim of the current research was the effectiveness of group lifestyle training based on Islamic-positive psychology on the psychological capital and resilience of single-parent children.

Methods and Materials: The current research method is semi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The statistical population included single-parent children in Yasuj city in May 2023, from which 30 people were selected using targeted sampling and randomly placed in two control and experimental groups. Connor and Davidson's (2003) resilience questionnaires and Luthans et al.'s (2010) psychological capital questionnaires were used to collect research data in the pre-test and post-test stages.The obtained data were analyzed using spss-24 software at two levels of descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (multivariate covariance analysis).

Results: The findings showed that lifestyle group education based on Islamic-positive psychology has increased the psychological capital and resilience of single-parent children

Conclusion:Based on the results of the present study, it can be said that Islamic-positive lifestyle education can be used as an effective educational method to increase the resilience and psychological capital of single-parent children in Mara through counseling and psychological services
