Relationship between Islamic Lifestyle with Educational Self-Efficacy and Educational Resilience in University Students

Abstract
Aims: Favorable educational status is one of the important aspects of students' lives as future builders of the country. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between Islamic lifestyle with educational self-efficacy and educational resilience in university students.
Materials & Methods: In this descriptive-correlational study, 200 students of the faculty of psychology in the Islamic Azad University of Karaj in the educational year of 2018-2019 were selected by simple random sampling method. Instruments for gathering data were Islamic lifestyle questionnaire, educational self-efficacy questionnaire and, educational resilience questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and simultaneous regression analysis by SPSS 22 software.
Findings: There was a significant relationship between Islamic lifestyle with educational self-efficacy and educational resilience in university students (p<0.01). Among the components of the Islamic lifestyle, the components of beliefs, family, and health together predicted a total of 19% changes in educational self-efficacy. Also, 32% of the variance of educational resilience variable was explained by the components of beliefs, family, health, thought and science and security (p<0.01).
Conclusion: Islamic lifestyle can improve educational self-efficacy and educational resilience in university students.
