Abstract
Architecture and music, as manifestations of the art of the human soul, have similar aesthetic and glorious effects in the field of appearance. Although music is more evident with the phenomenon of hearing and architecture with the phenomenon of vision, both arts have benefited from many similar aspects. The aim of the current research is to study the common elements of Iranian instrumental music and architecture, a case study of the Ali Qapu building in Naqsh Jahan square. The method of interpretative-historical research and case study (Ali Qapu Palace) and collecting information in the form of a library, which according to the results of the research, the common elements and characteristics of music and architecture of Ali Qapu Palace, including the use of colors, the use of forms. Order and harmony in architecture, repetitive symmetry and rhythm, use of spiral and slime motifs, and singing through musical visual elements in the hall.
