Purpose: The characteristic of symbols and codes is that they have changed in the course of time and history, they have undergone semantic peeling, and they present their artistic-literary function according to the social conditions of each period. Meanwhile, the symbols and codes emanating from nature have been used the most in the poems of contemporary poets due to their essential and lasting elements.
Materials and Methods: Based on this, in the present research, we have evaluated the mystery emanating from nature in the works of prominent contemporary poets of Iran with a descriptive-analytical method.
Findings: The results of this research show that the symbolic and cryptographic tendencies in the field of contemporary literature, in addition to the political and social situation and the caution and fear of media censorship, and stylistic transformation, are the result of precision and efforts to enrich the artistic essence - ambiguity - and also the company Giving the reader in the matter of reading and literary creation is for more enjoyment of the work.
Conclusion: In the meantime, the poets who had greater intellectual independence and innovative ability, while taking care of the classic identity of the symbols, saved them from vulgarity and everyday life and presented new readings of these symbols in a new intellectual and artistic structure.
