Abstract
Purpose: Researches show that today, more attention has been paid
to the documentation of managers' experiences, for this reason, it is
necessary to identify the factors affecting it so that solutions can be
provided to improve the documentation of managers' experiences.
Considering the importance of the topic, the present research
examines providing a model for documenting the experiences of
managers in order to improve the quality of training courses of the
social security organization of Bushehr province.
Materials and Methods: The study method is qualitative, which
was done using in-depth interviews. The participants were expert
faculty members, management specialists and those involved in the
field of documenting experience in 2021-2022. Sampling in the
qualitative part was done purposefully and with the expert network
technique, and 10 people participated in the interview.
Findings: The final results of the research based on the interviews
showed that the factors influencing the documentation of managers'
experiences are: 1) causal factors (social capital, support of senior
managers, collaborative management, organizational culture,
motivation); 2) contextual factors (laws and regulations,
information technology, organizational atmosphere, trust-based
organizational communication); 3) intervention factors (traditional
organizational structure, traditional management styles, lack of
support from top managers, managers' resistance, managers'
busyness, managers' lack of skills); 4) strategies (goals, analysis of
conditions, analysis of resources, identification of organization
strategies, use of modern technologies); The components of
documenting managers' experiences (identifying experiences,
recording experiences, sharing experiences, applying experiences);
Consequences (productivity, learning organization, solving
organization problems, modeling others' business)
Conclusion: Based on the findings of this research, it can be said
that many causal, interventional, contextual factors and strategies
have an effect on the documentation of managers' experiences,
which should be paid attention to.
