Identifying the Dimensions and Components of Professional Ethics Pathology in the Health Higher Education System with Grounded Theory Approach

Abstract
Purpose: Professional ethics plays an important role in organizational health and its pathology can play an effective role in improving organizational performance. Therefore, the aim of this research identifying the dimensions and components of professional ethics pathology in health higher education system with grounded theory approach.
Materials and Methods: This study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was qualitative. The research population was the experts of professional ethics in the health higher education system, which according to the principle of theoretical saturation number of 15 people of them were selected as a sample by purposive sampling method. The research tool was a Grounded Theory, which its validity by method was content and apparent confirmed Finally, the data were analyzed by open, axial and selective coding method in MAXQDA-12 software.
Findings: The findings showed that for the central category of professional ethics pathology in the health higher education system were identified 136 indicators, 31 components and 5 dimensions. In the mentioned central category, the causal factors had four components, the underlying factors had eight components, the intervention factors had five components, the strategies had seven components and the consequences had seven components. Finally, the pattern of professional ethics pathology in the health higher education system with grounded theory approach was designed.
Conclusion: The results of the present study have practical implications for specialists and planners of the health higher education system and they can take an effective step to improve professional ethics in the higher health education system by using the identified dimensions, components and indicators.
