Purpose: Cultural citizenship is a requirement for sustainable development in different societies and cultures. Therefore, the aim of this research was to identify the dimensions and components of cultural citizen drivers.
Materials and Methods: This study was applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of execution method. The research community was the experts of cultural citizens and related articles, according to the principle of theoretical saturation, 22 experts and 46 articles were selected as a sample with the purposeful sampling method. The research tools were note-taking of articles and semi-structured interviews with experts, whose content validity was calculated as 0.49 according to the opinion of experts, and their reliability was calculated as 0.89 with the method of agreement coefficient between two coders. Data were analyzed by thematic analysis method in Maxqda software.
Findings: The findings showed that 12 dimensions and 49 components were identified for cultural citizen drivers. The dimensions of cultural citizen drivers include cultural/social (7 components), responsibility (5 components), citizen participation (6 components), citizen identity (2 components), interpersonal trust (2 components), media development from mass communication (3 components), Tendency to follow the law (3 components), tendency to adhere to laws (5 components), social and cultural responsibility (6 components), economic and social status (3 components), cultural tendencies (5 components) and acceptance of social capital (2) component) were
Conclusion: Many dimensions and components were identified for the drivers of cultural citizenship, which can be used to take an effective step towards sustainable development.
