Purpose: The purpose of this research was to investigate the growth rate of the student population and the physical capacity of Tabriz University Faculty of Educational Sciences.
Materials and Methods: The research method is survey based on documentary study. Its statistical community includes all documents related to physical capacity and the number of students in different academic levels and different courses of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Psychology during the years 2013-2014 to 2018-2019. The sample size of the research was equal to the size of the population and was selected using the full number sampling method. The study of administrative documents was used to collect data.
Findings: The research findings showed that the growth of students during the academic years of 2013- 2014 to 2018-2019 was equal to 0.009 in total, and it is expected that the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Psychology of Tabriz University will have 1133 students in the academic year of 2023-2024.
Conclusion: Therefore, it can be said that the growth of the student population in this faculty is a function of the policies of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and the higher education system is growing exponentially in the development of Payam Noor and Azad Islamic Universities and scientific-applied centers. In some cases, it has also been in public universities.
